Queenstown to Gibbston: Visit the renowned Gibbston region, known as the Valley of the Vines, and enjoy a private cheese and wine pairing guided by a senior host at one of the region’s pioneering vineyards.
Bannockburn/Cromwell: Travel through the spectacular Kawarau Gorge, following the dramatic river corridor into Central Otago, to visit one of the region’s renowned olive growers. Enjoy a guided tour of the grove and a private tasting of premium, locally produced olive oils.
Cromwell: Visit a Central Otago orchard for a guided tour, sampling seasonal stone fruit while gaining insight into how it is grown. Discover the challenges and successes faced by local growers, and learn how climate, soils, and careful management shape quality fruit production.

All of our guides hold at least WSET Level 2 certification or bring extensive hands-on experience from the local wine industry. Which regions are covered
On this experience we explore the greater Central Otago region, venturing further to small, boutique vineyards in lesser-known areas. Our main areas covered are Gibbston, Bannockburn, Cromwell and optional Bendigo however we also travel to Alexandra and Lowburn.
IS LUNCH INCLUDED?
Yes—on this experience you will meet a private chef and personally select your own produce for lunch from local gardens and orchards. Your meal is then thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed in her private garden, creating a truly unique and immersive food experience. We accommodate and cater to all dietary requirements and food allergies upon request.
